These events familiarize freshmen, transfer students, and parents with resources available on and off campus.
If event is ON-campus
- Have participants or parents (if participant is under the age of 18) sign a waiver form. Refer to Waivers.
- Refer to Guests for guidance about minors and other hostees.
- Secure a Certificate of Insurance naming THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA as additional insured. Refer to On-Campus Insurance.
If event is OFF-campus
- You may be required to provide the off-campus venue with insurance. Refer to Off-Campus Insurance.
- Have participants or parents (if participant is under the age of 18) sign a waiver form. Refer to Waivers.
